Unit Registration Issue

MSG TO ALL
BAC Y3S2 is required to register for next trimester's units and time table.
Although the FBF management has mentioned last trimester that we might no need to register as what flexi students do, but failed. The decision is made by the TOP MANAGEMENT, the university is looking at the macro view but not micro.

We are still considered as FIXED STRUCTURE STUDENT, just that we may enjoy the benefit as flexi students - has the freedom to choose our time table.

To avoid the log in traffic, they have suggested that students may go to register in university's internet lab. As the relevant department has improved the server speed, that should be not much problem as last trimester.

Besides, there is RECOMMENDED TIME TABLE provided, but this is just a GUILDELINE for students to register under the same tutorial group, there is NO GUARANTEE on seats availability. Students are advised to register as per your RMP group, so you may get the same time table with your assignment mate. You may view the RECOMMENDED TIME TABLE from the FBF website, start from 24 Nov 2010 (Wed), after 4pm.

To view the time table in course registration system:
25 Nov (Thur)- 29 Nov (Mon)

To register the time table in course registration system:
1 Dec (Wed),9am - 5 Dec (Sun),5pm
* Only for students with Credit Hour more than 80 and above.
You may log in to Student Portal, then proceed to "My Account" to view your total credit hour earned.
(means BAC Y3S2 register 1st, the junior only can start register at 1pm)

II) Press the ENTER key
OR
Go to UTAR HOMEPAGE at http://www.utar.edu.my AND click UTAR PORTAL
-> COURSE REGISTRATION to display the LOGIN PAGE

ONLINE STUDENT SURVEY
Kindly complete the online student survey which begins from
22 Nov 2010 (Mon) until 12 Dec 2010 (Sun).

According to Dean of FBF, Associate Prof. Dr.Ooi Keng Boon, the lecturer(s) and tutor(s) CAN'T see the student's details (name and student ID).

PLEASE fill up the student survey accordingly and feedback/comment on the subject(s) and academic staff, so the FBF will be able to know your opinion and the performance of the academic staff better.
* For your info, online student survey is different with the feedback form in student portal. The online student survey CAN'T SEE the student details but the feedback form CAN.
