ACCA Accelerate Student

Once you get UTAR final examination result, please register yourself with ACCA as ACCA Student within 6 months. Failure to register will mean your accelerate membership will expire and you will no longer receive the benefits of an accelerate student.

ACCA Accelerate Student is waived to pay the ACCA initial registration fee which will cost £ 72. (£ 72 x RM5/£ = RM 360)

You do not necessary to sit for December 2011 sitting.
But you must register as ACCA Student within 6 months.
Initial registration fee: £ 72
Annual Subscription fee: £ 72

You may register from Malaysia ACCA office or respective ACCA Approved Learning Partners, eg: Sunway University if you wish to register for December sitting.

Please get the UTAR final examination result (included all transcript with official stamp) and request the completion letter from FBF upon to register with ACCA.

MADM Mid Term Test

MSG FROM LECTURER

1. Students are required to sit for the mid-term test test during the lecture session that they are registered, i.e.

  • Lecture Group 1 – 10 March 2011 (Thursday) 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm
  • Lecture Group 2 – 11 March 2011 (Friday) 1.00 pm – 3.00 pm
  • Lecture Group 3 – 10 March 2011 (Thursday) 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm

The exceptions are Lecture Group 2 students who have requested to take the test on Thursday (10 March 2011) with my agreement.

Students from Groups 1 and 3 shall not be allowed to take the test on Friday (11 March 2011).

2. Students are to bring along their own foolscap-sized paper to complete their answers. Students are only allowed to take along to their seats authorized foolscap sized paper.

3. All question papers are to be returned to the lecturer together with the completed answer script upon conclusion of the test.

4. Students are not allowed to leave the lecture room during the test.

5. All mobile phones are to be completely switched off while the test is on and before the question papers are distributed. Silent mode is not allowed. Mobile Phones shall only be allowed to be re-activated after the answer script together with the question papers have been handed up to the invigilator.

6. No copying or other methods to obtain an undue advantage whether for a student himself or herself, or for a friend is allowed.

7. No authorized gadgets or equipment including cameras, are not allowed into the lecture room during the test.

8. The invigilator may announce other rules and regulations before or while the test is on to preserve the integrity of the test over the three test sessions.

9. Any student contravening the above rules and regulations may be subject to penalties including being given ‘zero’ mark for the mid-term test.

RMP Announcement

1. VIVA schedule will be release latest by Week 4 Saturday, 12th February 2011.
2. 1st examiner- supervisor of respective group
2nd examiner- any lecturer from Dept of Commerce & Accountancy, FBF.
3. Every group is required to email the soft copy of their research project (chap 1-5) & presentation slides to both (2) examiners latest by Wednesday, 16th February 2011, before 5pm.
4. Number of slides: 20-25 slides. There is NO TEMPLATE provided, please design yourself.






During VIVA
Date & Time: As per schedule
Venue: Library, Multipurpose room at Ground Floor. (It is on your right once u get in library)
Attire: Formal with blazer (Guy with tie)
Please arrive 10 minutes earlier before your presentation slot.

For presenters of the day,

VIVA RMP13

MSG FROM MS SHIRLEY

1. VIVA will be reschedule either on WEEK 5 or WEEK 6. The specific dates, time and venue have not been finalizes. Will inform the class reps or post it on my office door once it is complated.

2. A week before VIVA presentation, the groups are required to e-mail a soft copy of their research project & presentation slides to both(2) examiners.

3. During VIVA, students are required to print out TWO (2) sets fo the oral presentation mark sheets (Appendix E of RMP marking scheme booklet) and burn a CD of the powerpoint slides for supervisor's safekeeping.

4.Students are allocated 15-20minutes for presentation and 10-20 minutes for Q&A session.

5. Students are given 2 weeks to finalize their research projects before handing up to the research coordinator.
